While it is true that one should try to simplify, some problems are inherently hard. E.g., if one wants to build a rocket to go to the moon, that cannot be reduced to many completely independent autonomous teams. It is inherently a complex multi-system problem that requires a great deal of coordination across a very large number of teams.

The same applies for less complex endeavors, such as manufacturing an automobile, or even a product in a multi-product digital platform.
