This won't accomplish anything, because it is partisan.

Democracy is broken in the US because the two parties won't work with each other.

The voting rights bill is an example on the Dem side. It addresses all the things that benefit the Dems, but does not address the legitimate GOP concern for election security.

I am non-partisan. To me, it seems like one party (the GOP) has gone off the rails, and the other (Dem) is being pulled toward an extreme.

As long as the parties are unable to work together, each bill that one passes will be perceived as an assault by the other side, and deepen the division.
