This is needed, unfortunately, but it is driven by over-population, which is the root cause of the housing crisis.

I personally don’t like density. I don’t want to live in a city! I don’t want crowded streets, and people jammed in all around me. I don’t like public transportation either — something that is necessary in dense areas.

Too many people are being allowed into the US, and people are having too many children. Countries with a high birth rate need to control their birth rate. It is the population size that is stressing the environment and is the main cause of climate change.

Australia is a virtual paradise because its population has been stable. Fifty years ago it was ~30M people; today it is still ~30M people.

Yes, we need to densify suburbs, but let’s remember why we need to swallow that bitter pill: over-crowding.
