This is actually pretty good.

One item I would like to echo: avoiding meetings that could have been, instead, an email or a quick call, or a dashboard update.

Managers have full calendars because they rely on recurring meetings to update them. But the result of that is that they have no time for ad hoc discussions - and it is the ad hoc discussions that inform you. And if you always have to run to the next meeting, then you don't have time to "go deep" on anything - so you don't really understand what's going on in terms of root causes. For that reason, I disagree with the first item under Meetings. Recurring meetings are a cancer.

Highly agile companies like SpaceX have leaders who are event-based and participatory. We explain that at length in the Agile 2 book.
