The time and effort to program is not consumed mostly by the portions of code that an automated system can construct. Most progamming time is spent,

1. Figuring out why your code does not work - that's 90% of the time.

2. Figuring out the logical activities and structures that you need - that is what you would need to tell the low-code platform, because every problem is different; for those that need a similar structure, you can start with a framework.

So until a low code platform can be used to create a low code platform, I think we are safe.

Also, I don't support the democratization of programming. A-lot of people don't have the disposition that programming requires, just as many people are not suited to be accountants, and many others are not suited to be sales people.
