The author is courageous. A lot of the responses are of the form, "You don't understand Agile", or "You have misconceptions", or "You are mixing Agile and Scrum".

But if one views "Agile" through an anthropological lens, then "Agile" is _all_ things related to the Agile movement. In that sense, Michael (the author) is spot on.

It was, in fact, these same observations that led to the formation of the Agile 2 team, to conduct a retrospective on the movement, and restate agility. That came to be called Agile 2 (agile2.net)
