Scrum has deeply damaged the Agile movement. Instead of trying to understand the Agile Manifesto, companies inject Scrum. Scrum does not work as defined unless you have one team and are building something simple and low risk. It also is incompatible with newer methods such as Behavior-Driven Development.

The dirty little secret about Scrum is that to make it work, you need DevOps — but then, it turns out, you don’t need Scrum :-)
