His politics suck. He sucks personally. But in his element - in engineering and developing products, he is a genius.

Read the book "Liftoff" by Eric Berger. And then read the book about Musk by Walter Isaacson. You will then better understand this individual.

Also, again I don't like Musk's politics, and I suspect he might be racist, and he often acts like a child, but if you watch the full video of this recent hand gesture, it is clear what was intended. He was throwing his heart to people: he put his hand over his heart, and threw it out toward the audience. The captured final hand gesture is out of context.
