It's nonsense. That's the objective truth.

I have studied leadership theory in depth, and the term "true leader" has no meaning within that field.

It's just a made-up term by the Scrum Guys.

And by using that fake term, they are generating yet more confusion within the Agile community, as they have been doing since they started the first certification program, and have continued to do each time they "update" they guide that everyone else must do exactly as it says.

Re servant leadership, that is a useful model, but it is very insufficient. Other forms of leadership are needed.
