It is not just about introversion. I find that in a group, no one pays attention to me. I can never get a word in.

Unless I have authority or special standing (e.g., as "the DevOps coach"). Then people listen.

But if I join a group, I get talked over and can never fully explain what I am thinking, so I give up.

For me, an OpenSpace is a very, very frustrating environment.

I do best writing my ideas down and sharing my thoughts in writing.

But the Agile community wants to force everything into a face-to-face discussion.

Well try making progress in mathematics only using face-to-face discussions!

Face-to-face has its place, but so does writing.

OpenSpaces don't have writing, do they? Or reading? I am not talking about a whiteboard - I am talking about thoughtful writing, like this:
