Indeed, last night a friend we had over for dinner complained that the young people on her staff don't want to work. I asked for details, and what she _meant_ was they don't want to work _her_ way: come back into the office, and be ready to drop what they are doing at any moment to rush into her office to solve some problem that she has.

I told her that _I_ would not work for her, and I could tell she got offended, which was not my intention, but it was true: I would not work for someone like that anymore. I have in the past. Now I am able to choose.
