I don’t understand the energy capture mechanism. The current in the form of positively charged helium nuclei would be insignificant compared to the energy put in for the lasers, and also insignificant compared to the kinetic energy of the reaction products (all the resulting nuclei, including the helium atoms). How are they planning to capture that energy? That is the actual fusion energy. Something is missing here.
