I agree with everything in the aritcle; but it seems to have the premise that Scrum is the goal. In fact, the best teams I have been on were not Scrum teams.

I would also suggest the recent work of Niclle Forsgren's team at Github, which studies what makes teams effective. Guess what? It's not Scrum.
