Hi. You misunderstand. I know that it exists. I merely reject the narrative that “everyone” feels intensely like they are a particular gender. The trans community wants to perpetuate that narrative. They claim that we are all a certain gender in our minds, and that those whose biological gender mismatches their mental gender feel angst due to the mismatch.

I disagree. I believe that most people do not feel an inherent gender — their biology is their gender, and that is that. Certainly over the years they adopt behaviors of others of their gender — that is normal.

I believe that most people have a mix of traits in their mind, and don’t question it. I have known many men who have “feminine” traits, but don’t feel any angst — they don’t feel that they must claim to be a woman. They are just who they are, and are comfortable with that.

I believe that those who have angst about it have a compulsive disorder. Most people do not feel that angst. I am an example of someone who feels like “I should have been born a woman”, but I have never had any angst about it — zero. I am perfectly comfortable being a man but having many female traits in my thinking and preferences. I am my own mix of things in my mind — as we all are. Why put a label on what is in one’s mind? Most people don’t — they feel no need to; no angst. Those who feel angst about it often have great pain. I wish there were treatment for that angst. Wouldn’t it be nice to be comfortable with who you are — both mentally and biologically — and not feel the need to claim any inconsistency?

Do you have a clinical study and peer-reviewed paper that contends otherwise? If so, I would like to read it. Perhaps I am an anomaly, and the other “feminine” men I have known over the years are anomalies as well. It is possible.
