Hi Serah. You wrote, “I am not making an assumption: I am describing my lived experience.”

I was talking about the assumption that others who feel like they are “more female” on the inside would necessarily feel anxiety about it. I understand that it is your lived experience, but that does not make it universal. The trans portion of the population is small; it is very possible that there are many people who feel to some degree like they are more like the other gender on the inside, but don’t say anything because it is not a problem for them. In fact, as they have aged, they might not even remember that they once felt that way — because it was not very significant to them.

You say that I am unwilling to understand your experience. Quite the contrary — I believe you. I have said in several of my prior responses that I understand what you feel, but I feel differently. And I am happy that you have found peace by being trans. I support that.

Trying to keep it short ;-)

I get that it is very real to you. I am just saying that there might be cis-men— maybe a-lot — who feel that they are “more like a woman” on the inside but feel no anxiety about it. But that does not invalidate your experience.
