Hi Sasha. Yes, there is way too much interference in how engineers work. But we cannot just "leave them be". There need to be team leads, program leads, etc.

One of the reasons that we studied SpaceX so much is that they minimize the meetings and other things that you mention. They have team leads, but those people are engineers. And they take a problem-oriented approach: "Let's solve this problem" instead of focusing on processes.
