Hi Leonardo. Nothing is certain. Of course one cannot predict the future; but some things are clear trends, with some level of certainty - not 100%, but enough to be alarmed.

E.g. my mother's family predicted that Hitler would take Austria, so they left before he did.

Sometimes trying to predict what will happen is the smart thing to do.
