Good point, but macroscopic objects also obey quantum mechanics. What happens is that if there is noise, or too many particles, we can no longer precisely characterize the precise state the system is in. A macroscopic system is a quantum system in which the ensemble of states that are possible is immense, but narrowly confined to a range that we perceive as macroscopic.
